Boosters Equip Spring Teams

The Novi Athletic Boosters approved  $23,950 in spring equipment requests during its February meeting.

            Team requests totaled $15,250 and were divided among seven athletic teams

• Boys Baseball – Floor balls, catchers’ gear, helmets and belts, $1,800.
• Girls Softball - 4 DZ Optic Yellow Incrediballs and helmets, $700
• Boys Golf – 10 bags, $1,500
• Girls Soccer – 1 dozen game balls, $750.
• Boys Lacrosse – 35 helmets and four nets, $5,000
• Girls Tennis – Replacement uniforms, $1,000.
• Boys and Girls Track and Field – Lynx timing system, LJ boards, equipment cart, $4,500.

The Boosters also approved reconditioning baseball and softball pitchers’ mounds and batters’ boxes at a cost of $5,500 and purchasing a $3,200 flake ice machine for the athletic trainer’s office.
